Sichuan Airlines Begins Service CGO - YVR

Sichuan Airlines has announced it will begin direct flights between CGO and YVR next month marking the central Chinese metropolis's maiden intercontinental passenger service.

The flight will commence on November 11 and will operate 2x weekly on-board A330-200 equipment.

As one of central China's largest manufacturing hubs, Zhengzhou's Xinzheng International Airport is a key conduit for the export of finished products - electronics in particular. As such, while its cargo network extends to Russia, Luxembourg, Italy, Germany, the UAE, Azerbaijan, and the United States, its passenger market only sees direct connectivity to South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore.
