Aviation quiz 7 (Guess the airline) In this quiz you get a chance to show off your powers of observations and a chance to see how f/a uniforms have changed over the years. Look at the photo below and guess the airline. There will be six photos, a new photo will be posted only when the previous one has been correctly identified; which means, depending on your powers of observation, this quiz could last for weeks. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif

No guesses... it appears a hint is needed.
Maybe a close-up of the uniform skirt will help. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Halfway there? Maybe this quiz won't last for weeks! http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Vicki, you are correct-American. I thought the AA f/a wings were a nice touch http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
You are now halfway through the quiz, but the next three questions are a little more difficult. Lets see how you do.
Vicki, this photo will probably give you a lot of trouble, but don't worry, things will even out in the end. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif
4. Guess the airline (see photo below)

*Ding* Vicki you are correct-Southwest. Nicely done, I thought Southwest would give you a little trouble.
So now we're up to #5. Lets see how you do with this one. *mischievous grin* http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif

United. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...n_confused.gif(1968 - I have to admit I had to get a little help with this one - I was only a kid back then and hadn't yet discovered the world of jetsetting and staff travel http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif!)

Takin' a stab in the dark here...Continental? Maybe before the first photo? Colors look similiar. Not sure why this comes to mind but what about Braniff? As you can tell I'm not very good with uniforms. Where do you get these things?

*mischievous grin* Exactly! I chose the photo precisely because the coloring was so similar to the Continental photo. Just part of my masterly mix of easily discernible clues and "maddeningly" false leads.
Randy, you fell for the quiz master's razzle-dazzle. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif
Maybe this photo will help. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Vicki, because of the additional clue, you can if you wish, change your answer. There will be no penalty http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif

http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gifI'll leave my answer as it is....for the moment...I have logged in at my other computer and it isn't showing me the pictures which makes guessing even more difficult!
-
So Vicki you got "a little help"? Well, you and your "advisor" are correct-United
Well we're at #6, the final quiz question. After the razzle-dazzle with #5, this question is straight forward and easy http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif...the scarf colors are unmistakable.
Yes Randy, this time the colors are a hint...a really big hint.
6. Guess the airline (see photo below) winter uniform 1986-1995

http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gifGlad I didn't change my original answer! Once again I am at my computer that isn't showing me the pictures so I won't even attempt a guess just at the moment - that would really be a stab in the dark! http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I'm thinking either BA or Air France. Both have blue, white, red motifs. I'm leaning towards BA because of the crown thingy on the hat.
Once again, where do you get these things?!?!?!

Just found an original site - www.airlinemeals.net - I'm into taking photos but I must admit I have never taken a photo of my inflight food! Have any of you guys?http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif
-
Odd. Okay, maybe a little bizarre. But I do feel a project coming on! Looks like something I'd do just to evoke strange looks from seat mates. Thanks!
-
Airline Meals... interesting website you found there Vicki. Next time I fly I'll be sure to get a close-up of my bag of pretzels. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif

Randy very astute, you deciphered both clues. After falling for the quizmaster's orange "red herring" with #5, a very nice recovery. But Randy, crown thingy" http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif
Vicki, nicely done
