http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif I did all 50 with 2:24 remaining. I'm not sure why it was so hard to remember Michigan and New Jersey! Those last 2 took about two minutes of combing the map in my mind's eye!
I got 47 of them with 5 minutes to go and remembered MA just before time ended. Can't believe I missed Indiana and Delaware!
*High Five* you two.
Lets see how you do with countires name the countries
...uh-huh not so easy.
I got 62, my mind just went blank. http://bestsmileys.com/frustrated/7.gif

Edited for spelling http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I am so impressed, Migflanker. I only got 51 and just couldn't come up with more. I did get a bunch of the 'stans' though.
http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif 92!
I agree with Mig! My train of thought just kept derailing! I could see it but I couldn't for the life of me think of it's name. No, not just the remote, unknown places but the very obvious ones too! http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif Even places we've been! Can you say 'deer-in-the-headlights'!?!?
It took me over two minutes to come up with Iowa, finished with 3:36.
67 of the countries, had issues spelling a couple or I would have had 2 or 3 more.
Good mental workout though

Impressive, I'm thinking you guys were stamp collectors. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
I tried the "name the countries" quiz again, only got 57 this time. I'm beginning to think my zig-zag, no rhyme or reason way of listing the countries is not the way to go. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif

Never a stamp collector. I should have been a geographer as much as I like mapping, using compass, and navigation. I had a globe while I was on ship and pretty much would track our voyages. People thought it was funny, but they would come by and they'd be checking out that globe all the time.

I was at 49 states with 6 minutes to go and could not think of Minnesota.
I finished with 3:38 left.
I had 97 countries and then my brain just went blank. I cannot believe I did not get Kuwait!
I was just there less than a year ago.
I cannot pull up the cities here at work due to a filter.
Fun stuff!

I named the 50 states in alphabetical order in 2 min and 45 seconds. It's one of those useless knowledge things I learned as a kid http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...DIR#>/cool.gif
but can you name the 57 Obama referred to this week??

Ha Ha!! I was looking for something about a Singapore hotel post and I found this post about naming states. Then I went back to view this again:
Obama Claims He's Visited 57 States - YouTube
'nuff said...
Haven't seen this before... got it with 8:19 remaining. Helps to have good typing speeds (even if I had a bit of an off couple minutes) and learned the Fifty Nifty United States song when I was in elementary school.
Got 48 states....missed new hampsire and michigan(which is odd, as I've probably been to about 40 states from DTW)
Got 86 countries
The state test wouldn't load....which is good, because I need to get a couple hour nap before Ms. Boeing comes to visit..
