Since I am homebound, I looked at RADAR (the Employee access site for NW) and found that now we employees can book confirmed discount flights on line - this is seriously awesome as we can book a confirmed seat home for about a day's wages. I mean, that last leg from MSP or DTW is always the one you hold your breath on - http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...R#>/tongue.gif
I hope Delta will keep this new little widget!

we can book confirmed seats at a discount also. Only for your passriders though, and the discount isn't that great.>10% <25%

It sounds good but I have not used it.
I would be sick to get on a plane and see empty seats, knowing I could have been in that same seat for free.

At AA we have a 20% discount, but can't do it online. I wish we could do it online. I buy tix quite a bit when I'm doing family stuff, such as hooking up with them in Orlando over Spring Break, Hawaii in the summer, or Thanksgiving, etc.

At Iberia we have 8 tickets absolutely free of charge that are confirmed for any flight... except for embargos seasons which are Christmast, ten days for Eastern in aprl, and July and august.
The seats are discounted at the inventory for the flight... and it is like a full fare confirmes fare Y, you can make flights changes and it is still in HK status...
You just have to take them at least 48h in advance for your intended flights... the only thing is that you can not overbook a flight, or the system will put you on standby. If you do so, you are the very first on the standby list anyway, which is also good.

At Midwest (YX) we can purchase an EZ20 tkt (20% discount), but have to do it through rez, we can also purchase them for our designated companion.
They just recently announced a new employee incentive program where if the company meets certain goals (on-time, baggage, survey ratings, etc...) each quarter employees can earn up to $300 in credit to use towards confirmed travel. We have not been through a full quarter yet, so I am not sure exactly how it will work, but I'm curious if other airlines have such a program...

At AS, we also have the ability to buy confirmed revenue tickets at 20% off for ourselves and eligible dependants. That goes for any ticket at any price as long as it is available for purchase.
There are also positive space "credits" we receive from time to time for exceeding cust.service or on time levels. Each credit can be used for one-way confirmed positive space travel booked as HK. We pay some imputed income taxes on those though, but still a great deal when you don't want to play the waiting game.
