Amazing
"After setting the aircraft down in one piece, the captain made two passes up and down the aisle to ensure that all of the passengers were off, then allowed rescuers to pluck him off the sinking plane."
--I was obviously very cold and one of the pilots turned to me and said, 'Please take off your wet shirt and I'll give you my dry one'," he recalled.
"And he gave me his shirt. He literally gave me the shirt off his back to keep me warmer.
"I still have it. And I'm never going to give it up.
"They are heroes - I can't say anything more."
--"Just remember folks these flight attendants are not just here for your drinks they could save your lives."
Well Done!

AA pilot recounts US Airways 1549 drama.
AA pilot Susan O'Donnell was non-reving sitting in seat 3D.
"Once at the terminal, we were met by police, firemen, parpmedics, FBI, Homeland Security, the Red Cross, Mayor Bloomberg, and more. Captain Sullenberger continued in a leadership role in the aftermath, talking with the passengers, assembling his crew and including myself and the other jumpseat rider as members of his crew."
"When the Captain asked me if I wanted to join his crew at the hotel, I told him I would really appreciate it as I had lost my wallet. He immediately pulled out his wallet and gave me $20. His concern for me when had had so much else to worry about was amazing."
Well Done!
