Are you sure you aren't thinking of ORD? :P
And where would you go from DEN, anyway? AA only serves their hubs from DEN, and I'm sure you could get there just as easily from LAX (unless you're limited to loads)... this is assuming that you don't switch to a ZED halfway through your trip :)

Congratulations man! I'm really happy to hear that. It really shows that with the right drive and focus you can find yourself in such a position.
Similar happened to me a few years ago. I left the $9/hour CSA job behind and started traveling the world moving wide body airplanes. Today I'm self employed and work with 747/777, etc, w/ the occasional 717 or 737 thrown in. I find myself working with rock bands/sports teams/politicians and foreign heads of state/ and most often and most importantly those who serve in the US military(bringing a planeload home from Afghanistan tomorrow). I really work hard at what I do, but I just can't believe how fortunate I've been.
Best of luck with it. I'm sure you'll do great!

BTW, one of my favorite places I get to every few months is COS. No current trips planned, but I'll try to get up to DEN one of these times.
How soon do you start?

That last storm did it. DFW is not the place to be when the system gets the hiccups.
UA/F9 out of DEN have saved many a D2/D3 *life*.

@ColoAvs19 - Just let me know when you're around - I start 5/14, moving in a few days before that.
@Mig: Good point!
