Well, it depends on who you ask.


AA unions-- Our message to chickens everywhere is simple, “welcome to the barbeque”.

AAZED-- The chicken has crossed the road hundreds of times at three different levels, (high, medium, low) all in the blink of an eye.

Cheops -- The chicken's motivations aren’t my concern. Getting it across the road looking just plane gorgeous is.

Chicken-- "I’m crossing because I felt like it okay? I gotta explain my every move?

ColoAvs19-- The chicken crossed the road in a Winnebago, used her SWU certificate.

BRITSKI99-- She had a crush on a Beefeater.

F/A-- Who knows, but she did it wearing heels, hauling a beverage cart and selling $5 snack boxes.

Gate Agent-- Why does anybody cross a road? I mean why doesn’t anybody ever ask what this chicken was doing wandering around when her flight was boarding.

Migflanker-- Well this taut and tanned sunglass wearing LA chicken somehow made it across the road unscathed. However a few months later it attended an open casting call for a national fried chicken restaurant and has never been heard from again.

Mrs767er -- She wanted to stretch her legs, a JFK-PRG flight is a long time to be cooped up especially if you don't have a flat bed seat.

Nick-- The chicken wasn’t crossing the road, it was doing the recommended in-flight workout exercises

Nicknak100-- The chicken crossed the road with a laser light show, a firework display and carrying a fountain (I didn’t get the fountain part either) but it sure makes me miss showbiz.

Offroader-- The chicken crossed the road by running through a drainage ditch wearing glasses with a 3D overlay, updates in real-time and markers to highlight nearby objects, and road traffic. That chicken was

Pilot-- Because there was a sign that read “All you can eat $5.”

Ramper-- Because it was a 22 minute turn-around.

SKC-- It doesn’t matter that the chicken crossed the road, what matters is that she didn’t take a delay, she got out on time.

Spongebue-- Despite almost being run-over by a speeding truck. I personally helped that poor little chicken cross the road, which was actually a six-lane highway. I lead that chicken by her wing and we dashed to the other side, where I helped it lay a dozen eggs.
I ‘m used to ramp and customer service. I’ll get some photos of it up on my page as soon as possible.

Tony757-- I don’t know. I changed two wings, a beak and removed a bad egg and the silly thing still can’t fly.

TSA -- The chicken had no picture ID. Therefore it was detained and searched in accordance with TSA procedures. We apologize for any embarrassment to the chicken.

29 Palms-- I didn’t see it, I was on a ship in the Med.

Wilbur and Orville Wright-- As to why , it's hard to say. Yet after we saw it couldn't fly, a thought occurred...If we could build a skid with a track going down the hill to the road, she just might make it across without touching the ground

Zedman-- Because it meant travel, that chicken just loves to fly.

If you ever go to the interior part of Panama, way in the country somewhere, back in the day, I don't know about today, you could find someone, usually and old lady that specializes in cooking up a soup called "sancocho". It's made from chicken, and in the broth, they throw potatoes, yams, corn, tajada, yame, and other junk you never heard of. A good sancocho takes all day to stew. You pay her the money agreed upon, and she takes all day cooking this soup. Fresh killed chicken and all. We agreed to a particular chicken and paid the lady the money. As we were walking down the street later, in this western Panamanian town, this lady didn't waste any time. We could hear a loud shriek. We all looked at each other, and someone said, "Man, that sounded like a chicken getting its throat slashed". When the money is right and the deal is struck, look out chicken.

So why did the chicken cross the road? He didn't want any part of being made into a SANCOCHO!
