You know the famous person, but where is the airport that bears his/her name?
The pass mark is 8/15. My score 10/15, I sailed through the first half, ran into some turbulence but recovered for a “Safe Landing”.:cool:

That reminds me, whenever I had people asking me about SNA at the airport, it was never Orange County, Santa Ana, or anything geographical to refer to the airport. It was, without exception, "John Wayne" - had to catch on to that one pretty quickly. Thankfully we didn't serve Bob Hope or any of the others.
Yeah we just call it John Wayne (JWA) too. BTW because of noise restrictions the takeoff angle is steep-very very steep.Quote:

I have an ok command of Spanish and told the taxi driver Aeropuerto Jorge newbury. He then asked me in English where I was flying and I told him Mendoza. He told me people call it aeroparque and the int'l Ezeiza (I knew that one) despite Ezeiza being named Ministro Pistarini international airport.
