Does Jetblue automatically assign their premium seats (marketed as even more) to non-revs once accepted from the wait list? Alternatiely can you purchase it as a sort of upgrade alongside your ID ticket? I know some low cost or hybrid carriers allow this.
I was given an exit row in even more when I non revved with them last year without asking or paying extra.
I've nonrevved with them a few times and have always been given the premium seating. My guess is that those are the ones left by the time they clear the standby list.
Since B6 specifically has been addressed, I think that on most airlines those premium seats are technically still considered Y seats, so they're just like any other seat to a nonrev. At UA, we not only have no charges for nonrevenue, but generally teach "nonrev karma" to gate agents.
