Greetings. My wife and I are going on vacation in Feb and were considering going to Belize. Unfortunately United doesn't fly there, so we would be going most likely via AA (DFW) or CO (IAH). If anyone can help with the loads on these flights I would appreciate it.
Feb 2 and 3
AA 2193
CO 1627
CO 1628
Feb 9 and 10
AA 2194
CO 1478
CO 1652
Thanks. Any other suggestions to get to BZE from SAN are appreciated.

AA-Well Feb 2 is better than the 3rd, 30+ in coach.
As far as your return, both look good right now. http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...DIR#>/wink.gif
As far as suggestions--you might also consider MIA/BZE, although I have heard some "interesting tales" about MIA. http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...DIR#>/wink.gif

CO : All four flights are wide open. +50 seats. I see NO problem with any of these flights.

I concur with meandfive. Wide open. For now.

Thank you. If you could keep an eye on those CO flights I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you.
I think that BZE will be our prime focus for our vacation.

keep in mind Drewmeister, you'll have to buy air tkts to get to most decent beaches or be prepared to drive ALOT
Most inland sites are accessible by new butterfly hwy
Here's a sample notation from resort in Hopkins:
"There are two small commuter flights that goes from Belize International to Dangriga daily, Maya Inland Air and Tropic Air. The flights(US$ 126.00 round trip per person) usually take 20 minutes, and the ground transfer is around 35 to 45 minutes. The flights leave from the International airport to Dangriga every hour."
Similar rates to other keys.
There is a place called the Black Orchid and they sent me this:
Thank you for your interest in our resort. We do offer a discounted rate for the Airline employees. Standard rate is $120USD plus 9% tax, your discounted rate is $100USD plus 9% tax. When you are ready to book the room you can contact us at toll free 1-866-1301 or book directly online at www.blackorchidresort.com
Luxurylink.com usually has some great deals but right now the pkg offers are limited
We looked at BZE but couldn't justify the extra zeds and local flts for mediocre beaches when we can get to better beach places easier (DL has limited schedule)

Got back from Belize last night. No problems IAH-BZE on Continental. I've gotta say, the Continental CSRs in both airports were quite helpful and efficient...My wife is a United FA, and the Continental staff were easier to work with than a lot of United CSRs. They didn't make us wait until the last minute to get a boarding pass, which was nice.
We tried to get seats on the direct IAH to SAN flights, but were getting shut out. We ended up flying Continental to SNA (Santa Ana) and getting a one way car rental for $128 (ouch).
Belize was fantastic. We stayed in San Ignacio inland, doing the ATM cave tour with Mayawalks. We highly recommend having "Renan" as your guide.
We also stayed in Caye Caulker. So chill and relaxing. We didn't want to leave!
