You probably will not need all these details once you see where to click to get to the place to start the process.
1. Select the "My Controls" link from the top of the page.
2. In the left hand menu under Invision Gallery, select "Your Albums".
3. Select the "Click here to create your first album" link or the "New Album" button
4. Follow the instructions to fill out the form.
5. Select the "Create Album" button.
6. In the resulting album select "Upload Image" from the "Select an operation" drop down menu.
7. In the "Caption" field type in a title for your image that describes what it is.
8. In the large blank form field that looks just like where you write a forum post, you can write a more detailed description. (optional)
9. Under "Upload Photo" select the browse button and browse to the place on your computers hard drive where you have your photo stored.
10. Select the "Notify me of comments to this image" check box so that you'll know if anyone posts a comment about your image.
11. Select the "Post Image" button.
12. You should then be directed to the page that displays the image. The title will be displayed as the header of the table on the right. Additional info will be in the table. The second table will have the image description. The third table has various linking formats that you can copy to paste to use in the forum or to send a link directly to the photo to friends via email.
13. Click the image on the page for the largest version that will open over your main window. Click away and it dissapears.
