Naw, he's home. Took a QF flight NRT-SYD, then UA SYD-SFO, and didn't even miss any work (guessing he came back pretty tired, though!)

Since you're on the US Airways side of thing as a CSR, they'll probably teach you shares, the computer system. First of all, just be prepared for a very strange text-based system. DOS-like, as some like to call it. There's a reason your training will take a week or two or three. But if you have any lingering questions, feel free to ask me as well. We also use shares at UA, but I don't think they teach you "native" shares (instead, it's an overlay to make things a little easier). Either way, there's a good chance I can tell you SOMETHING to help you out.

Thanks! I got the info to start my "onboarding" today, but the Jetnet registration won't open until Friday, my official start date. It's the first thing on my list, teasing me.

As pointed out multiple listings are frowned upon, but checking in on multiple flights is a big no-no.

Thanks, I wasn't sure how it all works. So if I check in for a flight at say 2:30PM, do I still keep that 2:30 check in time in regards to list position for subsequent flights?

Yup, as long as the agent is rolling you from flight to flight and you've not cancelled your original listing and checked in against another. You can be rolled from one day to the next (e.g., last flight today to first flight tomorrow) too.
