    Default Delta buddy pass question?

    Hello world travelers,
We are flying to FCO with our Buddy passes. Normally we would fly out of ALT or JFK and use a Delta flight but I see a flight out of BOS non stop to FCO. It is a Delta flight number (8124) but operated by Alitalia. Can we still use our Buddy Pass for this flight and airline? My uncle who gives us the passes does not know if we can because we are S4 nonrev. I see other flights with Delta flight numbers but operated by other airlines that could be our plans B and C.
Over the years we have had a great time with these passes and been to many places! We love them.
Also can we fly Northwest yet?
    Thank you for your time,
    sl111

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we know it is a tough destination. Can it be any harder than Hawaii or Athens? We've been to both on Buddy passes and all our trips have had a plan B and C which we have needed at times.
Yes, I love my uncle. He's been good to us,

    ROTFLMAO!! You wanna go WHERE?????

Seriously - FCO is NOT where you want to try to non rev to right now - Rome is MASSIVE busy lately. 3 out of 5 european reservation request I get are for Rome, or VCE or anywhere in Italy from now through August. MXP is a far better choice and learn to love the train...

    Truthfully, I am.

But 2 of my cousins did make it Rome, from Atlanta, on my '01 buddy passes last summer. I think they left on a Tuesday and returned on a Wednesday, or some mid week combo like that. Not sure what it looks like this year, though. I don't have any plans for Italy this summer, so its just curiosity

I'm curious, what's an '01 pass'? Sounds like you're first on. *wink*
