Thread: First Time Buddy Pass User

Hey all,

So I'm using a Buddy Pass for the first time to help me get to my research gig in Samoa from Atlanta around 2/23. I think I understand all of the rules, dress codes, etc., and I know I could get bumped for days at a location before a flight opens up. I do, however, have a few questions I hope you could help me out with.

1) What is the Buddy Pass Fare to the East Coast of Australia (I'm assuming that will be the cheapest to get to and also to one-way to Samoa from (unless someone knows otherwise?).

2) Since I'll have to book a one-way from wherever my Buddy Pass ends me at, how many days after I leave Atlanta would you recommend me booking? I certainly don't mind a couple lazy days in Australia, but don't want to waste money on accommodations for more than I have to.

Thanks for any help! I would pester the employee who's giving me the pass, but he's fresh out of knee surgery and I don't want to be a bother.
