    Cool Have Pass on Malaysia Airlines...best way/time from USA to Kuala Lumpur

    I am a Southwest Airlines employee with a prize letter pass on Malasia Airlines from LAX to Kuala Lumpur. Looking at making the trip either early or mid October. Have never done a trip like this before. Any suggestions on when (including what specific days each way) and where to stay/what to do in Kuala Lumpur??? Thanks so much for the help.

    Did you make it to Malaysia? Was it hard to get on the flight? I have always wanted to go but I have heard getting on a MAS flight can be tricky.
