Ok, the US airports do rank low in this survey, BUT I gotta say, #29 for DEN seems rather low - I mean those billowing white peaks..... and I'm talking about the airport not the Rockies. DEN's beautiful design alone should be worth a couple of extra points. I don't know the criteria they used in the survey, BUT if they factored in getting to/from the airport, I can understand why LAX "might" get a few points deducted (It should be noted we are working on improving it).

So with that in mind, I'm going with a write-in vote for : No idea. All I see in most airports is the transit - gate to gate/terminal to terminal - I plan it that way*wink* .

TUS is wonderful, low key, good food and sometimes you see wildlife on the tarmac (I saw a coyotes once walking near a plane taxiing), coyote on parking, owl on a saguaro :-))

Agreed, TUS is great. It's small, you can walk to the rental car lots, AND if you're lucky, you can see an F-16 land (Arizona National Guard 162nd Fighter Wing is stationed at the airport). I bet none of the top 10 airports listed can say that. *wink*

I love ABQ and PDX. Both did not make the list. Great shopping, roomy, clean, free good wifi.

BTW, ABQ is a joint use airport with Kirkland AFB....oh yeah, more military aircraft sharing the runways ---ABQ/TUS seeing a theme here. *wink*
