Ok, I have lift tickets to go skiing in Sun Valley, I have vacation from 3 to 10 March. My company has pass privilges with Southwest, Jetblue, Spirit, US Air, Airtran, and a few foriegn carriers like Aer Lingus, Alitalia, ect.

My research shows that my best bet is to go through PHX, (traveling with the family), as this gives me the Southwest and US Air option with the most flights/chances.

    Opinions, comments, or load factors.

I assume from your post mentioning WN and US/HP that you are planning on going through BOI and not directly into SUN ? There are a lot of nonstop flights to SUN now mostl out of SLC and a couple from LAX, OAK and SEA and put you right their but maybe you don't have access to Skywest or QX. I thought most airlines had an agreement with Skywest. Where are you coming from you didn't mention that because there is many ways into BOI if that is all you want to get to..

    Ty,
I am coming from PHL, BWI or any of the NYC airports, all are driveable. My company does not have an agreement with Skywest, CO, AA, or DL. I fly for a 10 airplane Mil Charter and with a few scheduled international destinations, so my Non rev oppertunities are restricted to the companies previously named.
I actually was just going to try to get to SLC and rent a SUV for the tribe. Total of five traveling, but we can split the party up on seperate flights/airlines into 2/3.
    Thoughts?

Hi P3flteng and Ty, I see you two have found your seats and settled in , welcome aboard.

P3flteng once you narrowed things down, post your load requests in the "checking loads" forum, for a quicker response.

BTW I've travled with a "tribe" , dividing into two groups is definitely the way to go.

    Thanks for the welcome Mig...

P3flteng yea if you are planning on getting a van from SLC then I would agree PHX is probably best. Depending on loads I would go either B6 or US to PHX or possibly even B6 to OAK or LGB as and I think WN has connection to SLC from OAK and B6 has connection to SLC from LGB.
