I was kind of surprised to see Mexico, The Phillipines and Colombia on that list. Colmbia has a lot of drug activiy but itt's all about were you go. You head to major cities and you won't have a problem- the Colombia coast is very beautiful and has excellent beaces. Mexico is the same way, while they have seen an increase in violence in some major cities (such as Guadalajara and most notable the border) some cities are still extremely safe.
I agree with you on central Africa, i have no desire to hang out in Lagos or Abuja among other cities, no thank you. Does anyone know for DL f/a's that fly to places like LOS whether the company tells thme they must stay in their hotels and not come out? I would not be too happy to get a layover in LOS.
