    Security of course (I got mistaken thinking that it would be a full crew on cargo plane).

    Answer accepted. FA's are on cargo planes for the same reason they're on any plane- safety/security. Cargo planes have sensitive fire detection/suppression systems-while the fire system in pax cabins have smoke/fire detectors, portable fire extinguishers and...people. FA's are on safety/fire/security (whatever you choose to call it) watch. Like I said- you know this.

    Planes have 2 to 3 FA's depending on flight, one has to be on duty all times.
