I just went all over the admin area and can't find the silly setting but I do believe that I disabled it. I thought we would have to have it for the Nonrev Correspondent's forum but it is a private 'forum' rather than topic. Private topics allow members to participate in private conversations so I did not think it a good idea to let folks use up our bandwidth for all kinds of stuff that doesn't relate to travel or is innapropriate. Or if they start using private topics to discuss travel with a specific person that the rest of the community can't view then we can't benefit from the knowledge.

Let me know what you think. Do we need "private topics"?
