KY bourbon barrel cake

I had a few bourbon barrel beers a couple weeks ago at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. Brewers from across the country go to this thing and give samples of their brews. Fantastic!

So who drove you home? All kidding around on the side, I like anything that smelled like aged whisky or bourbon. And I don't drink neither of those. I just like the distinct flavor and smell coming from a wooden barrel. I especially like a humidor dipped in whisky to give the cigars an initial whisky flavor before I smoke it. I was checking out the web site too. I gotta have those Bourbon aged barreled Maple cookies someday.
