Working for an Airline right is now is not safer than working for a contracter. There are folks who have over 15 years senority with airlines that lose their jobs due to cust everyday. Here in MIA, AA has just outsourced their daylight cabin contract and over 50 AA enior employees will bump back to the line and take out 50 AA workers with senority as high as 15 years. It's sad to say that vendors/contracters/subsiduarires will countinue to grow as Airlines countinue to contarct work out. I would love nohting more than to say I work for XXXXXX Airline but at this point in the game it might just be to late. Evan DL only now hires ready reserves and gives out packages for senior agents to retire....Hang in there.......
