Well if they used Military time that's the time using the a 24 hour clock i.e 1:00 pm = 1300 hours there would be a whole lot less confusion for those that have left the sundial twilight zone !
Now lets see Mickey's big hand is pointing at the one and his small one pointing straight up at that hickory dickory 12 on the clock and clock has struck one.

The original schedule being correct:

FLT#1105 SLC 11:56am – 3:46pm HNL

FLT#1104 HNL 10:04pm – 7:15am+1 SLC

Flight 1104 leaves HNL 2204 and arrives next day at 0715 at SLC - {4 time zones - 4 hours difference} HST to MDT = 5 hours and 11 minutes of flying time {tail winds ?} !
Flight 1105 leaves SLC 1156 and arrives 1546 at HNL - {again 4 time zones - 4 hours difference} MDT to HST = 7 hours and 42 minutes of flying time {headwinds and a departure routing
out the LAX Channel Islands Gateway ?} note Hawaii does not go onto DST !
The Airbus A330 is a smooth riding jet powered glider as opposed to the former retired speed horse L1011 thus the apparent big time difference in flying time westbound !
And good deal the A330 aircraft is a much better deal than the 767 in human creature comforts.

Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday November 6 at 0200 in your time zone - Mickey's Big Hand pointing at the number 2 so expect a schedule time change.

Maybe there is an APT for that - so don't reach for that dial - touch that button - your smart phone will do the adjustment for you - NO Mickey required !
