Guess I should do a short version of Bangkok/Bali report. Spongebue--I negotiated $30 for 1/2 kilo--it totaled 220 beans! I got to choose my own bundles, to get the weight.

That's not bad at all! If you're desperate to get rid of some, I'm sure we can give a few beans a good home, but if you still have some leftover ideas, by all means use what you bought! I think I may have to try infusing some bourbon like you mentioned a while back, or maybe some rum or something!

And Mig, I'd say the national dish of Norway was meatballs. Not terrible, but there's just not much variety in the food. Norwegian tap water was just fine, but when you're on a road trip it's a little hard to come by! I bought the smaller bottles (which I forgot to mention were unexpectedly carbonated. Not a huge fan) in a pinch, then in Gran I ran to a grocery store to get that bigger bottle to refill each day. As for directions, I usually rely on a saved map on my phone, but the GPS signal was not as strong as I had hoped in the city. Maybe I should stop at a sporting goods store for a decent compass!
