Come on folks - you HAVE to admit that part of the fun of non reving is the thrill of the chase, and the game of 'will I/won't I?' - if we wanted to make SURE of getting there, we'd book positive space and lead boring (probably productive) lives!

All that being said though, once you get to a place you really SHOULD do more than just get a tat - I've done a day run to MSP just because it was something to do, but I NEED to get out of the APO for a few hours!!![/b]
I have to agree. It's the thrill of making it or not making it and running around airports that does it for me.

It can come at a cost sometimes though. Such as chancing my luck coming back from STL-LAX to connect to a QF intl flight that would get me home at 0730 to report to work at 0900. STL-LAX got delayed for 2hrs, so i had to fork out $500 to AA for a walk up. But i got it refunded later That was a big thrill, not thinking i'd be back to work on time. But when i look back... an amateur mistake as although my boss would be OK with it, I would never hear the end of it!

Just a few weeks ago i flew 20hrs each way to DFW for a 3.5hr party which was crazy fun! Now i get what people mean about you should check out the city etc, but i'd lived there for 4months and been back about 3 times... so i think that gives me an excuse to be a fool
