well they certainly were bright.
I think Qantas' "Spirit of Australia" is an apt slogan- it's been the favourite airline in Australia for a fair while now and Australia is a very flying orientated nation because of the long distances between cities- makes people identify with the airline quite well I think!
Welcome aboard Henryg.
A nice Qantas ad - Qantas - I still call Australia Home
Of course we also have to tip our hat to Ansett, right Al! http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...DIR#>/cool.gif Ansett Airlines - Absolutely
I always thought Qantas could have this slogan:
" U are all we need"
I can't naturally type the q without one!! I have to pause and...
like some Arabic names like Saqqara
Yeah, I doubt a lot of 'non-airline' http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...DIR#>/wink.gif people know QANTAS is an acronym. Of course this whole business with the spelling could have been avoided if when they went with the abbreviations they chose QUeensland and Northern Territory Aerial Service. http://www.nonrev.net/forums/style_e...#>/biggrin.gif
see--they needed U and you, too
