Why did the chicken cross the road?
An age old question, and one much debated in intellectual circles. Here then, for your enlightenment is the answer to this most intrigruing conundrum as answered by.....airline workers.
AMT-- I don't know, I changed two wings, a beak and removed a bad egg and the silly thing still can't fly.
BA (news release)-- Had a crush on a Beefeater
Chicken-- "I am crossing the road to block traffic as a protest against...(thump)"
F/A-- Who knows, but she did it wearing skates, hauling a beverage cart and selling $3 snack boxes.
Gate agent-- Why does anyone cross a road? I mean why doesn't anyone ever think to ask what the heck this chicken was doing wandering around when her flight was boarding.
Management-- We are adopting a wait and watch policy. We have convened a meeting of all departments and will decide the future course of action after the chicken comes back.
Marketing-- the frequent fryer miles
Northwest (news release)-- to run away from the fox, or to chase the worm, or both, it's a food chain after all
Pilot-- Because there was a sign that said "All you can eat for $5".
Part-time ramper-- because it meant travel.
Ramper-- It was caught by a freak gust of wind.
Reservations-- It crossed the road to get back to the coop, which the farmer had moved as part of a cost-cutting plan to stave off bankruptcy and win a goverment loan
Tower--The light was green
TSA-- The chicken had no picture ID. Therefore it was detained and searched in accordance with TSA procedures. We apologize for any embarrassment to the chicken. Questions, call the TSA consumer hotline.
TWA (press release)-- obviously to avoid a bloody encounter with that other chicken walking toward it.

Those are all wrong. The chicken crossed the road because during the chicken fight, one of the chickens lost his blade when the string that tied it to its feet got sliced during the fight. Aware that he had lost his weapon, he commenced to run like hell and flap his wings giving him enough lift to fly over the enclosed ring and on through the seats while everyone was trying to grab him to throw him back into the fight. But this chicken was real good, and really wanted out real bad, and he managed to flap hysterically enough again lifting him aloft to the rafters where he found an opening to fly out of. 100 Filipinos ran outside the arena because they had alot of money riding on this chicken as the chicken sailed through the air and back down on the dirt parking lot outside the COCKPIT ARENA at San Mateo. They all were yelling and screaming chasing the poor chicken all the way to the road. The chicken stopped, looked behind him and saw everyone coming at him. The chicken commenced to cross the road full of JEEPNY'S and TRICYCLES and BUSES, and BICYCLES and MOTORCYCLES in a QUEZON CITY traffic from hell in 100 degree heat. Still, alot better than the 230 degree boiling water he would find himself if he were caught. So the chicken crossed the road thus leaving a trail of chicken you know what and alot of unhappy gamblers with unfinished business. That's why the chicken crossed the road.
