If we're talking about apps, the UA app is absolutely essential if you're travelling on UA. Especially from smaller line stations without the screens with standby lists. You can view standby lists, upgrade lists, seat map, and change your flight and view booking totals. I'm not sure if those last two features are available with a ZED PNR (I know that standard nonrevs have those options) but it's still pretty awesome.

All these features were available when I traveled as a zed on UA back in November. Very useful and thrilled to find out I was given a seat in E+.
