My brother has always worn a mask on long haul flights (way before covid) but not on the shorter ones. Having to put in for mask exemptions for folks who simply cannot wear them due to a disability is a lot of work but we do it so these people can fly so, yes, there are more people than you might think already flying without a mask. I have been flying but always end up with a headache from wearing the mask. It's time for it to be a personal choice and others on the flight need to stop judging those who do/do not choose to wear one.

I never wore one on a flight before covid, but I have carried masks on me for over 10 years.
I started after I stayed in a hostel dorm in Moscow, in which all the roommates were sick.
