I fell off the board a few summers ago in the middle of planning a Costa Rica trip...exhaustion and seemingly threatening mental breakdown simply turned out to be pregnancy. Extremely rough time for a while there, and I fought to maintain my sanity for a while. Completely forgot about the board. Now I've given up on my sanity (so much easier to travel non-rev with 3 little kids once you don't try holding onto that) and finally remembered this wonderful board! My almost 3 yr old has certainly had plenty of non-rev adventures (started easy with Maui at 8 wks old, followed quickly by spending a night in LAX, random flights around the continental U.S., Oahu, and most recently Osaka, Japan). Since we typically travel as a group of 5, are bound by a persnickety elementary school principal who threatens "reporting" us for missing too much school every semester, my work schedule, and hubby's work schedule, our destinations tend to be slightly limited. Don't be surprised to see "where do you recommend" posts popping up from me...(and now that I'm thinking about it, one of my kids did mention recently that he really wanted to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa before it falls over LOL). My kiddos are great little travelers, and always know that we never really know when we'll be going where. No issues sitting by themselves (except my almost 3 yr old), pros at knowing what to expect and how to act appropriately (most of the time). They might be getting a little picky since I try to strategically (read "LUCKY") fly on flights that provide good opportunities for first/business.

I'm glad to be back on (the) board, skimming thru posts and seeing what everyone is up to. Love the sense of community and the support available here!
