Default Welcome to the new site...post any issues here.

Welcome everyone...hope you like the new look and feel.

I do expect some issues, since we've switched to a completely different forum software ( now vBulletin instead of IPB )

Also, the old site is now at http://nonrev.invisionzone.com/

    Known issues:
    - blogs not ported over yet
    - picture galleries not ported over yet
    - usernames changed if your username was different from your login name ( I can fix this, just
post here with what you want it to be. )

Post any issues you are having here, and I'll do my best to get them fixed.

Previously, the Checking Loads forum was restricted to registered users. Any chance that can be implemented again?

Sure. Looks like the automated tool misses a few key things...

Now a private forum, threads viewable only by registered users.

I can't seem to get rid of my 609 stored sent PM messages ( all from 12-31-69 BTW)- keep getting error message. Because I'm over the storage limit can no longer send private e-mails.

Since you are a "Super Moderator", I just set your storage limit very high. Try logging out and then back in, and see if you can delete PM's.

I do have a button that would delete all of your PM's. Let me know if you want it pressed.

    Default Fixed some issues

    Here's some fixed issues:

    1) There were issues with permissions for those in the "Nonrev Correspondent" group. Those should be fixed now.

    2) The default per-user setting was to have "private messaging" turned off. You could enable it yourself, but I found a database setting that enabled it globally.

    3) Set two forums that were supposed to be private back to private.

Let me know if there's more to work on. Happy to fix things as quickly as I can.

Are PMs supposed to be re-enabled? When I go to my inbox, it tells me that I have 5 messages (sounds about right) but they don't show up. If they aren't back up, is there any chance of that happening, now that we're on a new board? At least for a trial?

Yes, PM's are back up. I did have to wipe the old PM's because there was a ton of spam out there. The "5 messages" are gone, but you should be able to send and receive new PM's from this point forward.

Also, when I cleared the PM's, I missed clearing the fields that show you total number of PM's, and total unread PM's.

    Just cleared that.

Now we're ready to try PM's on the board again. Just sent you a test PM.

I think it's an issue with the shock of being somewhere new... very rarely goes over well for the first couple weeks. Case in point: Facebook. Every 6 months there's a redesign, every time there's a redesign people complain about it (and its bugs). I guess that I'm less than fond of the web 2.0 look everywhere (giant buttons, etc) with this site, but I know I'll get used to it in a couple weeks and have no problem with it.
