Hi everyone!

I know that for many of us non-revs
the ability to fly just about anywhere for virtually nothing is the best part of our job. BUT the cash cow comes calling once we step off the plane. This forum/site does a great job offering bargains to keep the cash cow away, but I wanted to add my 2 cents regarding car rentals. I have found that one of the best sites for car rentals is www.nrevbook.com/ They give you direct links with discount id# and coupon codes. Consistantly I have gotten my best rates using these discounts. Other than that, the car rental companies are taking a lesson from the airlines and often offer their BEST/LOWEST rates on the internet. This means you will have to go to several sites and shop and compare and often over and over. It's often worth it as I got a mid-size car with Dollar in FL in Feb/Mar for 14.99/day + taxes. Anthor "trick" is to find a discount # and/or rate code offered by another source--often a credit card or automobile club. Special conventions in a particular city may offer special deep discounts at the same time you're lucky enuf to be there. ALSO, hotels can sometimes book you a cheap car rental if you book a room with them! AND, last but not least, be sure to check the car rental link/deals on NONREV.NET, too! Good luck! JeanH-flyinlo
