Hi sorry I have been absent from the forum for a while. Britski is right, the closest international airport is YYC. Any other connection you made would only reduce the drive slightly, and the drive is truly beautiful. FYI, the highest point on the entire TransCanada highway about 1/2 hour outside of Calgary, not in Rogers Pass as you would think! Please let me know if you would like any more information on the area.
