That being said... a friend of a friend worked for an airline and quit but still had his ID. He showed it at the service desk whenever he went somewhere and he got upgraded on intl sectors everytime, bar once. I'm just not the type who feels right in doing that kind of thing!
I've just never flown NW or JL, nor AA internationally. For some reason I think AA would have small uncomfortable seats. I imagine JL the same...
I still need to check loads. NW is open, need to call AA and JL so the decision may be made for me.
