Aviation music http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/band.gif
This quiz tests your aviation/music knowledge. I'll give you some lyrics and you have to identify the song. Bonus points will be awarded if you can also identify the composer or artist.
Since 10 aviation songs would be waaaay too easy. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emotic...on_biggrin.gif I've included lyrics from songs that have absolutely nothing to do with aviation other than they mention a plane or flying in a particular line. This quiz is rated difficult, don't worry I'll give you some hints.
For this quiz I had lots of help, thanks Sgt. http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
As previously stated, a detailed explanation of scoring is avaiable by sending one dozen Mrs Field's chocolate chip cookies ( with walnuts) to Migflanker at LAX. Inquiries will be answered wtihin 6 to 8 weeks and are not valid in Arizona, New York, and certain Canadian provinces.

9 "All my bags are packed I'm ready to go

The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn

Congratulations Luv2fly you identified 10 out of 10 songs. However because you didn't identify the artist, you were not awarded any bonus points.
Your score is 80-
74-83-Aviator--Every non-rev lives for something different, for some it's the chance to travel the world, for others it's the opportunity to corner the market on boarding passes and in-flight magazines, for you it's the chance to peek into medicine cabinets, yes, lots and lots of medicine cabinets. You love to travel, enjoy singing along with the in-flight music and don't mind sleeping in airports or knocking on your son's friend's cousin's door in the middle of the night and asking for 'your precious' dental floss. http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/biggles.gif

Fascinating answers Al, but no matter how many times you request it, American carriers are not putting Waltzing Matilda on their in-flight play list.
Now just for Al, lets all join in for a rousing chorus of Waltzing Matilda.
"Waltzing Matilda, waltzing Matilda
You come a waltzing Matilda with me
And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boil
You'll come a waltzing Matilda with me."
Now that I see the words, Al what is this song about anyway??? http://www.nonrev.net/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
