Name the Movie - Quiz

Name the move-
The rules are simple. I'll give a short plot summary and you name the movie.
Since some of the summaries are, what I would rate as difficult, I'll give a few hints and encourage 'best guess answers'. That's right, even if you don't know Superman from Batman, I encourage you to post your answers.
All 'best guess answers' will be awarded points on a purely subjective basis with absolutely no rhyme or reason, thereby making all final scores totally meaningless.
So post away and have fun.

I&#39;ll admit, my taste in movies is a bit odd at best.

1. Wizard of Oz (best. summary. ever)

4. I think I know which Cruise film you are talking about. He&#39;s like some hit man, takes a cabbie hostage. Real cold bad ass in the movie.

5. also know the one about the bomb on the bus with the crazy actor Dennis Hopper.

Palms, you&#39;re wrong on both counts, although you did have me laughing with the "Crying Game".
With #3- "Bank robber&#39;s bloody demise- red was definately NOT his color", you fell into the same trap as the FA&#39;s.
