Thread: Name the Movie - Quiz

Name the move-
The rules are simple. I&#39;ll give a short plot summary and you name the movie.
Since some of the summaries are, what I would rate as difficult, I&#39;ll give a few hints and encourage &#39;best guess answers&#39;. That&#39;s right, even if you don&#39;t know Superman from Batman, I encourage you to post your answers.
All &#39;best guess answers&#39; will be awarded points on a purely subjective basis with absolutely no rhyme or reason, thereby making all final scores totally meaningless.
So post away and have fun.

Disclaimer: Many of the plot summairies are from my friend. And since my friend is not very creative, (I ghost write her Christmas newsletter) I know she didn&#39;t write a one; so I will credit the website she used as soon as I get her to fess up.

1- Techicolor midgets give directions.

2- Short hero-----long movie (OK, this one is kinda difficult, so I&#39;ll help.....a little *whispering* sequels

3- Bank robber&#39;s bloody demise - red was definately not his color.

4- Cruise colder than "ICE".

5- Bus with bomb.

6- Is it safe?

7- Fe-male (Alright, this one&#39;s a little tricky, but you can do it, just think about it.)

8- Man travels up river and smells napalm. (2 to 1 odds that not only will 29Palms answer this correctly, but will have visited the place where the movie was filmed and had drinks there.)

9- DK.....NY (Ok, this one is hard...you&#39;re on your own.) *evil laugh*

10- A boy befriends an alien, that only wants to go home. (EZ, right?)

11- Boy meets Prime mate. (if you don&#39;t know this one, you didn&#39;t read my blog)

12- Srolling binary confuses 1. (5 to 1 odds that Spongebue not only answers this correctly, but, has seen all the sequels.)

13- Sharp shooting cowboy goes out back, meets crazy woman.

14- Fated lovers request song, but Sam hates encores.

15- Spoiled self-centered beauty wears dress she saw hanging in a window.

I&#39;ll admit, my taste in movies is a bit odd at best.

1. Wizard of Oz (best. summary. ever)
6. Pick a horror movie, any horror movie. Oh, and to answer the question: for the love of God, no! HE&#39;S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!
10. Not so much EZ, but rather ET
12. Probably the matrix? I&#39;ve seen each of them years ago, but don&#39;t remember much. I may be a computer science student, but I haven&#39;t even seen Star Wars (no, not any of them. Yes, really)

I&#39;m sure I&#39;ll learn of a few others and then say "ohhhhhh"

Well you two are off to a good start; although Palms, you&#39;re completely off course with #4.
Since there&#39;s a chance of late arrivals, I&#39;ll let this play a litttle longer.

Uh-huh, Palms you&#39;re really beginning to decipher the clues.

Anyone else care to take a crack at the quiz now?

This just in- A group of AA flight attendants just took the quiz, they got 6 out of 15. Surely a group of non-revs can do better than that.

Palms, you&#39;re wrong on both counts, although you did have me laughing with the "Crying Game".
With #3- "Bank robber&#39;s bloody demise- red was definately NOT his color", you fell into the same trap as the FA&#39;s. John Dillenger is the main character in the movie, he&#39;s played by (you know ) but I&#39;m looking for the title of the movie, not the character.
You keep thinking there Palms.

#7 Fe-Male -The Crying Game (now that&#39;s funny) You get 5 points for that.
Look at it again Fe................ Fe..........Fe where have you seen that before, maybe on a chart?
