That is extremely sad. Heroin is a horrible scourge; I can't fathom anyone who can be so ignorant about a "daughter was a Type 1 diabetic, suffered from depression and was on medication. But Casey, 51, believes heroin or drugs were not a persistent problem in the parents' lives, and added that her daughter was well-liked and described her as "a light in the room." This girl was really screwed up, and seems like hubby was as bad (or worse). Addiction comes in so many forms and yes, mom, she was an addict. I feel for those four children...
