I looked at GIG and GRU (since no visa fee right now) but flts to EZE are $3-500 rev.
Sky isn't bad but almost $200.
Got up @ 5am only to find that tonite is same carp--moved medallions up to biz and minimal seats open now IF they actually exist.
This must be the Curse of Peru we encountered several yrs ago trying to go to Lima. Had to convince Boss to go later that season.
RATS!! This is maddening...

Thanks, Offroader--we're toying with SCL. Sky says $114 then add airport fees of $30 and we might not be able to do carry-on. We lose half day arriving at apt around 5pm. KL 777 is same$ (I can do zed for half that) and it arrives 1pm. We're about ready to chuck it all but Sat #s "look" ok (until rollover commences and she's on the bottom of list) I'm using S2 and I've been on top position each flt. 2 went out w/zero nonrevs so S2 means squat sometimes. ARGHH [again]
Ah, the joys of nonrev...

If you are not in a rush when you arrive you can take the bus 86 the stop is on the left side when you exit, very cheap but long. The Argentinian side of the falls is worth to see, Puerto Iguazu is small and boring, it can be quite cold at this time of the year. A good Italian restaurant in BA Campo di Fiori near Calle Venezuela... (I cross my fingers for you). By the way if you end up in SCL, there is a shuttle bus wichich will bring you to the bus terminal, from there you can take a bus wichich goes to Mendoza and cross the Andes I have heard that it is beautiful form Mendoza you can fly to AEP which is almost downtown Buenos aires

I've done the bus ride from Mendoza to SCL. Amazing views driving thru the Andes.
