we liked Villa dell Palmar for the AI price. RT transfers, bubbly, well-appointed suite w/ 2 baths abd jacuzzi. Great pools, decent beach, ferry to Isla Mujeres. Massages for $1300 5 nts 2 people. Add some exta tips and it's a good deal. Not a party resort tho.
Casa Turquesa looks great for non-AI.
I'd love to do west coast mex, but it's a bit difficult for flights out of here.
