    Observation – JAL have a SFO-HND flight on Thursday evening which currently shows some seats available. So you might want to get a JAL zed as a backup just in case your UA options don’t work out !

    (Back ups on ANA and DL might not work both from the timing angle and the load angle. If you have no baggage – it might be different and ANA might be a marginal possibility. Always subject to advice from those with more definite info.)
