Thread: I don't understand some pilots

Ok so I was working a flight yesterday and ops called and said check the last 10 carryon bags for ballast reasons. So I have this lady going to los and I tell her she has to check her bag. She starts crying and pleading with Myself and another agent. Finally it is time to go and she is still carrying on so we tell her either check the bag or go tomorow. She gives us the bag and we dispatch the flight on time but barely. So about 5 minutes later ops calls and tells us we have to open the door and take a passenger off and to call the police. It is the same lady who refuses to sit down so the captain wants her removed. We call the police and open the door and he says all she wants is to lock her bag and she will be fine. So someone has to give her a lock, we have to find the bag in the belly and lock it. All this takes about 20 min so the plane arrives in Atl late and a bunch of people miss thier connection for this ladies bag. He rufused to let us remove her. Delta ends up paying for hotels and meals and pissed off medallions for 1 passenger. I just don't get the logic. Of course she made her connection.
