hi folks! needing options for flying to zanzibar please.
Delta partners preferred--but we have lots of zed now
we're CVG but happy to access EU destinations from JFK or ATL, too
any creative thinkers out there?
thanks!!!

Fly to Kenya, and take the daily service NBO-ZNZ that Kenya airways opperates (KQ 493)
Do you have ZEDs with them?
Anyway, maybe the ID90 is not very expensive.
we don't fly to Kenya--it's been put on hold indefinitely, BUT I found options like:
ATL/DXB and zed on Qatar Air to DAR es Salaam
seems we can get ferry or fly to ZNZ
I'll look into the NBO-ZNZ that Kenya airways operates (KQ 493) as an option to get us IF we can get to NBO instead of DAR--good idea
Any more brain bolts of brilliance??

Well you could take
DTW/AMS on NW
AMS/ZNZ on KQ (via NBO)
and skip the ferry.
I always vote to skip the ferry.
BTW, I recently saw a travelogue that featured the Breezes Hotel, looked like a nice place to hang your hat.

whoa--that's WAAAAY too many flights in coach!! hahahaha--you forgot how spoiled I am!!
I'm still looking at buying tkt DAR to ZNZ on a puddle jumper but there's still a long way to go for the resort:
This all started when hardly anyone bid on this hotel package:
http://www.luxurylink.com/luxury-hotels/my...&oid=247931
So far the bidding is around $500 (and I have a gift certificate for $250 off!)
It's the:

and includes E$100 credit for spa or excursions, some meals, taxes--not too shabby
Hey--that Breezes is pretty nifty, too!!

Trust me M767, we're on the same wavelength. When I'm checking flights, I'm looking for first.
BTW, your hotel, it's not bad, not bad at all. Good Luck!
