similar issues at times (CAI/JFK has been awful this past month--I'm iffy about going next wk)

Hey mrs767er, have you heard of any stories regarding the weight restrictions departing IST to JFK? I'm thinking about trying again in early March and the return currently shows over 110 open seats. Thanks for your help and expertise!
