Default Travel to Israel with passport stamps from UAE and Qatar

Anyone ever done this? How does it work, or is it even possible? Some people have said that the Israelis will stamp a blank piece of paper to be inserted in your passport, but I wonder about that. Just curious, there are a lot of beautiful things to see in Israel and since we fly there, I might do it soon.

Are you concerned about being able to get to UAE or Qatar after visiting Israel? Delta has a nice portal to Timatic, which is used to keep track of all entry requirements for any combination of source, destination, nationality, and transit cities. It also includes warnings for things like passport stamps and vaccine requirements/recommendations. Check it out: Visa & Passport Information

    Hi Tony,

I visited Israel after visiting the UAE, they let me into Israel without issues. Upon entering Israel I did indeed ask for my passport to not be stamped upon entry and exit and they were fine with that. They actually ask you whether or not you want your passport stamped (passport control).
LY on the other hand put me through hell and back trying to board the aircraft. Worst treatment I have ever had trying to board a plane. They did let me on the damn palne after a 3 + hour invasive security search by some very nasty peeps.
If you are trying to fly on US make sure coming back from TLV get back up passes on OAL. Our flight most of the times takes a weight penalty coming back out of TLV. Nonrevs have been known to have gotten stuck for days. If the light is wide open you should not have a problem just make sure you have a plan B. Avoid the summer, Jewish and Christian holidays, thats when flights are usually packed to the gills.

Thanks, guys! It's likely going to be in the fall, if I do go. I'll ask them to stamp a paper, since I've been to UAE, etc. and may want to return at some point.

Chepos, our TLV flights are mostly full both ways. I've never seen it light. But that's good for us (the company) at least. Are you ready to become American lol?

The problem is usually going into an Arabic country with an Israeli stamp. When I was in Saudi Arabia, we had a guy that had worked previously on a contract in Tel Aviv. Before he could get his assignment in Saudi Arabia, he had to submit his passport to the U.S. consulate to have his Israeli stamp removed from his passport. This was back in 91. I wouldn't go to an Arabic country with an Israeli stamp, regardless of the situation. The hate there is too much against the Jew.

Right, which is why I asked. There's other countries there that I want to visit, hence the question of having an Israeli stamp in it.

    Hey Tony,

I'm fine with whatever happens, as long as I keep my job and I get paid and don't ave to relocate. However, to be honest I really don't think it will happen, but who knows!
Some arab countries will grant you entry into the country with an Israeli stamp- obviouly KSA wll not let you in the country as they do not recognize Israel. Then again traveling to Saudi Arabia is difficult enough as you need an invitation from a Saudi citizen to get a visa. I wish entry into Saudi would be easier since I think it would be fascinating to visit the country due to all the history.
Here is a list for countries in the Arab league that will grant you entry with an Israel stamp.

    - Egypt
    - Jordan
    - Mauritania
    - Oman
    - Qatar
    - Tunisia
    - Morocco
I'm not sure about the UAE, I have heard people who have had trouble when entering the country with an Israel stamp.

Just a note on my experience as I think Israeli security controls can vary. On arrival I asked the passport control officer not to stamp my passport before handing over my passport and this was done without issue and was given a slip of paper in place. At the next control point I was asked to wait a bit and was later interviewed by an officer who wanted to know why I had UAE and Malaysian stamps in my passport and why I asked for my passport not to be stamped. The interview took about 15 minutes. On departure I was also interviewed about my travel to UAE and Malaysia and also no issue with the exit passport control officer not stamping my passport. Both the officers doing the interview were friendly. Also when departing the airline only cleared me for the flight about 15 minutes before gate closing but the airline check-in staff talked to security who let me bypass the line and go in front. BTW you get to keep the slip of paper in case you are like me and like to collect your visa stamps.
