    Honolulu for the day ... Pah! .. small beer ... the weekend before he left BA a friend of mine did Sydney for the weekend

    Anyhow welcome aboard .. it's a weird world in non-rev land and you continually learn about how to get where you want to get .. even after 30+ years.

    e.g. the fastest way between two points is often not a straight line on non-rev travel; when travelling to the east you start off heading west and vv; your own airline may be the cheapest fare between two points but may not be the cheapest in time and overall cost

    HI in a day??--nothin' special! CVG/CDG for dinner in Paris--home the next day. How 'bout 28 hours in Bejing? Next time, I did DTW to PEK, only to find hubby had been rerouted, so I stayed in Narita overnight and home the next day.
    There have to be some pretty wacky routings and quickie destinations in this forum. Grab a seat (I mean on the aircraft) AND GO!
