    Post AA Travel Changes

Lots of changes to take effect in September - See Jetnet for the latest info.

    Effective
    Sept. 10 -
New boarding priority - new US code in parenthesis
    D1 (SD1V)
    D2 (SD2E)
    D2R (SD2R)
    D2P (SD2P)
    D3 (SD3G)
    AAC N/A
    ONE (ON1E)
    D4 (SD40)
    ZED (ZE1D)

AA retirees will board as D2R

Sept. 15 - All employees and retirees well have access to NRTP and Travel US
Sign on to Jetnet and you’ll see link to Travel US
    Fully integrated boarding

There are some differences in travel be sure to take note.
These two jumped out for me-
NRTP and Travel US process payment for travel charges differently.
When using Travel US, upgrades, parent fees and international taxes are paid at time of booking.
US reservations system is unable to maintain your time of check-in if there is a change to your literary .

So the new system will still clear by time of check in rather than seniority?

does the FCFS principle apply to other airline staff also? meaning, if I as OAL happen to check in before an AA emp. I receive a higher priority. Or its ranked within the OAL subset

    Uh-huh I should have added
Boarding is based on check-in time (FCFS) within each pass classification.

If I am reading it correctly, if we use NRTP for travel on US, we will not be billed until completion of travel?

Yeah that’s how I read it too. Although, it does look like eventually we'll go with credit cards.

As a retiree , i do think that loosing our D2 is totally unfair, however I am really happy for my fellows TWA retirees.

It’s definitely a downgrade. On a bright note, you’ll get six D1 vacations passes starting Jan 1. 2015

They should grandfather current retirees and employees and implement the D2R for new employees.
