Default Registered Companion Listing for Travel ???

Hello All, does any know if/when AA will put in place a system to allow registered companions to list themselves for flights without needing to ask the employee to do so or without logging in themselves as the employee? I'n an AA companion and also a United enrolled friend. With United I can list myself with my own login. With AA as far as I know I can not. Is this correct and if so when do you think it will get changed. It's quite annoying. Anyone have any knowledge of this? Thanks

Are you referring to creating a flight listing or checking in for a flight? Since nonrev travel is a privilege of the employee which can be taken away, the employee should be the only one responsible for listing. There is no way for a RC, immediate family members or buddy pass travelers to create their own listing on AA. If you are referring to checking in, I agree, AA should allow this. When I list a family member for travel on another airline such as B6, DL, UA, etc, the nonrev traveler is allowed to check themself in on that airline website, no login required. Not sure how other airlines handle check in for family members and buddy passes.

I gotta tell you, I don't see that happening.
