Hi! I was curious about how full the LAX-NRT flights on Northwest generally are around the May timeframe. I'll be travelling on the 10th or so. I've been looking at NW's site at the seatmaps and they look like they run a very full 747 to Tokyo (the flights typically have about 10 seats remaining when they're ready to leave.) Is this a very popular non-rev route as well?

Thanks for your help...this is my first non-rev international flight!

I haven't non-reved to Japan, but I thought the Japanese "Golden Week" holiday is around early May. I have heard that the most of the country leaves for the vacation and flights are booked solid. If that's the case, be careful non-reving.

    Hi EricT welcome aboard,
Skyfly is on target about "Golden Week", which I think ends around May 6??, flights to/from Japan are booked solid.
Since this is your first time non-reving internationally you might want to read How To Non-Rev, lots of great tips.
