Is end Sep, beginning Oct a good time to visit, or more precisely, is that holiday time in the southern hemisphere? Any recommendations for accomodations. Additionally, without going into details about loads, but how is non-reving on the NZ flight from LAX to Roratonga. Comments welcome.

Mid to late September is school vacation period in Oz and N.Z., but having said that the Cooks aren't all that popular for school break type vacations. There will be a lot of movement though between NZ and the Cooks.

The NZ flight to Raro routes via PPT in Tahiti, so it's quite often heavily booked.

Back to the topic of LAX - RAR. I see there's a long stopover in PPT and assume that the pax get off. Do you know if non rev's have to re-check, meaning that I should walk with double cpns. I'll query with our staff travel dept, but we all know how helpful they can sometimes be. Also any tips or comments on non reving with NZ, such as do they have a separate desk in LAX, treatment of staff etc. I see that flight 23 is still bookable in most economy tarifs, but should you or someone else have the loads for the 24th or the 27th Sep you can PM it to me (I know this isn't the right forum but still ask nonetheless)
